Hayley Trahn DoanSpecialization:
Computer Science

Undergraduate Degree & School:
Psychology at the University of South Alabama

Plans after you graduate:
Upon graduating, my goal is to work in the field of artificial intelligence. I aim to bridge the gap between AI and Psychology, using my knowledge in both areas to develop innovative solutions that enhance mental health practices. Down the line, I plan to pursue an MBA to expand my understanding of business and leadership, which will allow me to implement AI-Driven strategies effectively in both the technology and healthcare sectors.

What do you love about the SoC?
What I love most about the SoC is the incredible support from the professors, especially given my non-computing background. Their guidance has been instrumental in my growth, helping me build the technical skills I needed while creating an environment where I felt confident to explore new ideas. Their encouragement pushed me to dive deeper into AI and it's applications, and that has made a significant difference in both my academic and personal development.
