USA Housing is excited to announce the launch of a new laundry app, coming soon! Check back later for more details.

About the residence hall laundry rooms:

  • All machines are set to be free of charge, meaning there is no cost to the student to use. 
  • A Room Key/Jag ID is needed for access to a laundry room.
  • Machines are operated with a push-button start (no money required)
  • High-Efficiency (HE) detergent is recommended. HE laundry detergents are specialized formulas made to use in HE washing machines. The main difference between a HE detergent and a regular one is the amount of suds. HE detergents produce less suds and are designed for the lower water environments of HE machines.
  • Washing machines are top load
  • All laundry rooms are located on the first floor
  • ADA washing machines available

Report any laundry room concerns to the Housing Facilities Office (251) 460-7655 / or fixit@southalabama.edu with the building and machine number. Contact your RA On-Duty if after hours.
