Resident Assistant Recruitment

The 2026-2027 Resident Assistant Recruitment Process begins November 13, 2025, with RA Interest Sessions being held for currently enrolled students to learn more about what it means to be an RA. Resident Assistants are an integral part of USA Housing, and we are looking forward to meeting all interested candidates!

All candidates are REQUIRED to attend ONE (1) RA Interest Session. You will only receive an application if you attend.

• Fall Interest Sessions: November 13 - December 2, 2025
  • Thursday, 11/13/25: 11:30am @ Fresh Food Co. Meeting Room
  • Thursday, 11/13/25: 1:00pm @ Fresh Food Co. Meeting Room
  • Monday, 11/17/25: 2:00pm @ Gamma Multipurpose Building
  • Thursday, 11/20/25: 3:30pm @ Stokes Classroom
  • Monday, 12/1/25: 8:00pm on Zoom
    • This is by reservation only for those who are unable to attend the in-person Interest Sessions. In-person sessions are preferred over online Zoom sessions. Reservations can be made by emailing Savannah Crenshaw at crenshaw@southalabama.edu.

  • Please note that attending the RA Mixer does not count towards the Interest Session requirement.
• Deadline for Applications & References uploaded on JotForm (returners & new candidates): January 22, 2026
• Selected Candidate Interview invitations sent out: January 27, 2026
• Interviews: February 2 - 11, 2026
• Selection Emails sent out: February 13, 2026
