Sponsored Projects Administration
SPA functions to support faculty research through the attraction of nationally competitive
research and other sponsored program awards. The term "sponsored projects" refers to the externally-funded activities undertaken by faculty and/or administration
to advance the mission of the University of South Alabama.
You are encouraged to use the resources available on the SPA web site and to maintain
contact with College/Departmental Grants Administrators or the SPA staff to provide answers to your proposal-specific questions.
Research administration involves a number of University offices. Information on post-award
