Monday through Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am-4pm. 

Please make an appointment to ensure a staff member is available to assist you. Contact us by email at mccalllib@southalabama.edu or call (251) 341-3900. A parking pass is required to park in the library lot - please stop in to the Libraries Administration office on the first floor to receive a pass which must be placed on your car's dashboard.

The Doy Leale McCall Rare Book and Manuscript Library is located on the third floor of the Marx Library, the main library on campus. If you are visiting us from out of town, exit at Airport Boulevard from I-65 and head west. Turn right onto University Boulevard. Once you pass Old Shell Road, turn left at the third red light. Stay in the left lane. The turn to reach the Marx Library is marked. The building features a four-story glass-encased front. Researchers will need to display a parking pass which can be obtained at the circulation desk on the first floor of the library.
